Many times there is information which NLS submits in the comments
sections of orders which can either save you time and effort,
as well as impart something critical in the order. We are noticing
that some offices may not be aware that that information is
there, and request that this be conveyed to your order entry
to reduce follow up from the NLS side. Following are some examples
of what may be in the comments sent
NLS PROVIDES THE LEGAL DESCRIPTION OR PARCEL ID (WHEN AVAILABLE),
IN ASSURANCE THAT THE CORRECT PROPERTY IS SEARCHED
NLS PROVIDES THE STATES PRIOR FILE #’S TO HELP THE STATES
REDUCE COSTS OF THE NEW SEARCH AS WELL AS
SPEED UP THE TURN AROUND TIME.
NLS REQUESTS COPIES OF OPEN MORTGAGES AND OR COPY OF LAST VESTING
DEED, CLIENT SPECIFIC. THIS INFO IS IMPERATIVE TO OUR CLIENTS
IN ORDER FOR THEIR FILES TO BE UNDERWRITTEN
AND CLOSED. THIS IS REQUESTED FILE SPECIFIC.
